Hey everyone!

I hope everyone’s midterms are going well! I know this time of year is very stressful but there is always lots to look forward to! Remember you have less than 2 weeks til Reading Week.
We have a great Student Appreciation Day planned for Tuesday February 7th! The event will be held in the new LazSoc clubs office in Lazaridis Hall and there will be some fun activities, and great food from RBI who owns Tim Hortons and Burger King! Also in attendance will be custom suit designer, FourFiftyFive. Come check it out!
Take care everyone!

What’s your favourite Laurier moment?

My favourite Laurier moment would have to be when I got a chance to be a part of the Golden Speakers Club at Laurier! From being a First Year Rep last year to now being the Training Program Brand Ambassador, it just has been just an amazing experience. The vibe you get at meetings and events is something I actually can’t explain. It’s just a group of incredible individuals trying to make Laurier the best it can be! I would highly encourage everyone to stop by at a Golden Talks and see what it’s about!

What was the first band/singer you saw in concert?

Uhmmm I don’t think I ever got a chance to actually see someone live in a concert! But heyyyyy my best friend has tickets to Kehlani… maybe I should go with her??

If you were to make a TedTalk, what would it be on and why?

I would probably speak about “my story” and the value of building a community. The word community is feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals. I believe everyone has a story and well, I just think I have a cool one to share!

Would you rather fight 100 duck sized horses or one horse sized duck? Why?

Well, first off I would not want to fight at all! I am such a wuss and I can’t punch hard, only kick! I would honestly ask my squad to come protect me. But IF I am to be in that situation, I would fight 100 duck sized horses, I want to prove that I am small but mighty! (being 5’1 has it perks)

If you had the opportunity to live anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would it be?

I am not sure if I would live there “forever” per say, because Canada is where it’s at! But regardless I would definitely go to Istanbul in Turkey! The city its self is so vibrant with many old century mosques and churches. There are also so many kinds of street foods in the market places. From the shopping to the boat tours, parks and museums, I want to do and see it all! #GOALS

If you could be a Disney princess or Marvel superhero who would you be and why?

If anybody knows me… MULAN is my girl! I don’t think I fangirl about anyone too much…but Mulan! She is actually gorgeous, brave, fit and a little witty! Realistically speaking… I would probably be the first “man” to die if I were ever to fake being a man to fight in war. But hey, I would actually love to be her and just try to be all brave and loyal to the country. Lowkey you can probably catch me singing that great reflection song in the hallways! Ps. MULAN IS A PRINCESS OK!

What’s your favourite meal on campus?

My favourite meal on campus would probably be the perogies from Wilfs! I mean they are basic but they are still so good. Definitely go to all you can eat and just binge on these little pockets of potato joy!
