Director of Events

The Director of Events will assist in the creation, organization and execution of Startup Laurier's main flagship events including, Entrepreneurs Exchange, Laurier Venture Challenge, as well as other initiatives throughout the year.

Time commitment:
5-10 hours per week

- Play an integral role and contribute to Startup's events, programs, and initiatives
- The planning and execution of Startup's flagship events
- Attend weekly events portfolio meetings and full team meetings
- Actively engage in Startup Laurier’s vision and key pillars
- Be an all-star team player and Startup Laurier family member
- Assist in promoting the participation of Startup events

-experience using zoom, google meets, and other video communication platforms
-ability to use Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint etc.)
-strong time management, organization, and communication skills
-Team player who is dedicated and passionate about Startup
