Director of Events
The Director of Events will assist the VPs of Events in all event planning, organization, logistical matters, and execution of all events for the 2024-2025 academic year. By ensuring the smooth operation and coordination for all event affairs throughout the year, you will play a key role in the growth of ASIB.

Average Time of Commitment: 5-7 hours per week (varies throughout the year)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting the VP of Events and other portfolios in planning and coordination of events throughout the year, which includes securing venues, managing timelines, and allocating resources
Supporting Executives in booking vendors, arranging equipment, and overseeing on the day of the event
Giving recommendations to Club Presidents and VP’s on strategies for maximizing attendance and overall ways to enhance experience
Ensuring post-event documentation is collected including feedback and reports regarding recent event
Participating and engaging in bi-weekly portfolio and bi-weekly full team meetings
Qualifications:

Effective organizational and communication skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to multi-task and manage timelines effectively
Remain committed throughout the term
Personable and strong attention to detail.
