Director of Graphic Design

Hours of Commitment: 7-9 hours/week

The Director of Graphic Design will report directly to the VP of Marketing and work closely
with the Director of Marketing to develop the integrative marketing
campaign for the year. The marketing executives will be in charge of the
management of DECA Laurier’s platform on campus, as well as off campus by
maintaining a consistent and professional brand image for the organization. The
Director of Graphic Design will primarily be in charge of designing the social media posts, 
promotional videos, website, banners, etc. and copyrighting DECA Laurier’s brand for the 2021/2022 year.

- Proficiency working with the following select programs: Adobe Photoshop,
Indesign, Canva or Illustrator (Design) Adobe Premier Pro CS, Final Cut Pro,
iMovie, or Sony Vegas (Video Editing) iPhoto, Photoshop, or Lightroom (Photo

- Represent the DECA U and DECA Laurier brand through effective visual aids
and media that aligns with the organization’s core values and vision
- Assist various VPs and Directors from different departments in the creation of
corporate sponsorship packages and delegate development training magazines
- In charge of all visual branding aspects of DECA Laurier (i.e. business cards,
banners, promotional materials, videos, website, posters, etc.)
- Assist the team in implementing marketing and advertising campaigns that
attract and retain members
- Create content to be used by the Director of Communications
- Other duties as assigned
