To build our dream team, The ASIB family is looking for a First Year Representative. You will collaborate with our current Executive VP to help us achieve our goals. Please review carefully the information below regarding exactly what we are seeking:
Average Time of Commitment: 4-5 hours per week (varies throughout the year)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Pump up the team and dynamic of the club, and assist the VP of Internals to plan and schedule team socials ahead of time
Assist through a rotational program, where you are able to shadow different portfolios
Attend ASIB meetings/events, collect notes and share insights to first years
Serve as the liaison between first year students and ASIB to gain feedback from their experience to better our internal processes
Interact with social media platforms to increase social media engagement rates (share, repost, share, like, comment)
Qualifications:
Proven ability to think creatively and innovate
Self-starter attitude with the capacity to independently identify needs, propose solutions, and take decisive action
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting, fostering a cooperative and supportive environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Collaboration skills as you will also be working alongside different portfolios/department
Manage a diverse set of responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
