VP of Marketing

Hours of Commitment: 7-9 hours/week

The VP of Marketing will report directly to the Co-Presidents and will work closely with the Directors of Graphic Design and Communications to develop and integrate the marketing campaign for the 2019/2020 year. The marketing executives will be in charge of the management of DECA Laurier’s platform on campus, as well as off campus by maintaining a consistent and professional brand image for the organization. This portfolio will be responsible for building awareness and communicating DECA Laurier’s core values and visions as the leading professional development organization. The VP of Marketing will communicate closely with other Vice Presidents on the executive team.

- Represent the DECA U and DECA Laurier brand through effective visual aids and media that aligns with the organization’s core values and vision
- Assist various VPs and Directors from different departments in the creation of corporate sponsorship packages and Delegate development training magazines
- In charge of all visual branding aspects of DECA Laurier (i.e. business cards, banners, promotional materials, videos, website, posters, etc.)
-Assist the team in implementing marketing and advertising campaigns that attract and retain members
