FPC is a DeGroote student-led initiative that attracts students from all over Ontario. Starting as a small event that was held in the afternoon of a school day, FPC has grown to be a weekend long case competition allowing students to develop and showcase their knowledge of accounting and professional skills (e.g., critical thinking, analytical, communications, time management, and interpersonal skills).

In addition to the generous prizes for the top three teams, FPC Competition provides its participants with opportunities for professional development and networking. FPC has many sponsors from professional accounting organizations and big accounting firms in the GTA. FPC sponsors also provide keynote speakers, judges and interactive workshops.
