Club Resources

The Lazaridis Students’ Society is a partner to over 20 business and economics clubs. We provide these organizations with a range of services to support their efforts in engaging the student body. Lazaridis Students’ Society Clubs Office Booking
The Lazaridis Students’ Society Clubs Office is a valuable resource offered to clubs for executive or team meetings, storage, and mail collection/distribution. Outside the office, you can find several mailboxes for all Lazaridis business and economics clubs. The Clubs Office can be booked online through our calendar tool (link below).

Students’ Union Clubs Resource Center
The Clubs & Associations Resource Centre is located on the third floor of the Fred Nichols Campus Centre (FNCC) building, next to the Turret. This space is designed for club use, and includes computers and printers, storage space, and a large boardroom-style table. After hours and on weekends you can book this room for meetings, interviews, or other related activities.

Selling Food on Campus
As per the University’s policy, clubs cannot sell any food required to be kept hot or cold, with the exception of BBQ’s adhering to the WLU Food Services BBQ policy. For example, the sale of pizza slices is not permitted. Baked goods that can be kept at a room temperature are examples of acceptable items for sale. It is encouraged to have a list of ingredients or common allergens for goods on sale.

Off-Campus Events
If your club or association is planning to hold an off-campus event, you must notify our VP of Clubs & Associations three weeks prior to the event by completing the Off-Campus Event Form on the Students’ Union website. They will work with you to ensure that your event is safe and all required procedures have been followed. If an off-campus event is held without approval, the club will face disciplinary actions (by the Students’ Union) in accordance with the Clubs and Associations Policy.
Space Booking – Wilf’s Pub, Turret Nightclub, SBE Atrium
Wilf’s Pub and the Turret Nightclub are on-campus entertainment venues located on the first and the third floors of the Fred Nichols Campus Centre (FNCC), respectively. For booking inquires, please email Jeyas Balaskanthan, Director of Hospitality Services, at jbalaskanthan@wlu.ca.

Sponsorship & Donations
For risk management purposes, if a club or association would like to receive sponsorship funds or donations from an outside organization, you will need to notify our VP of Clubs & Associations in advance.
