The Lazaridis Student’s Society Conferences and Competitions Financial Subsidy Program offers students the opportunity to subsidize a portion of conference and competition costs. These events provide amazing experiences to gain valuable knowledge and skills that students can apply to their academic and professional careers. Lazaridis School of Business & Economics students may apply for a subsidy of up to 50% of the cost of conferences and competitions.

Apply for the Conference and Competition Financial Subsidy by following the steps below:
- Fill out THIS application form to let us know more about you and the conference or competition that you wish to attend. Please include all relevant student information, a cost breakdown, and a description of what you hope to gain from the opportunity.
- Our team will review your application and contact you indicating whether you are eligible for subsidization.
- If your application is successful, please submit a completed expense form, found here to the Conference and Competition dropbox located outside of the Lazaridis Students’ Society Clubs Office (P1003).
- Subsequent to attending your conference or competition, please submit a one page, double spaced reflection of your experience in order to receive reimbursement. In the reflection, please describe any highlights and lessons or skills gained at the event that you could use to improve the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics community. All forms must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org within 60 days from the date of the conference.
