Description
The LIFA Capital Markets Mixer is a networking event where students will be able to network with Laurier alumni, finance professionals working on Bay Street (from firms such as Altas, Turtle Creek, CPP, Mawer, Brookfield, Greenhill, and more), and other students. The event will be held in Toronto on September 30, the dress code is business formal, and is open to all Laurier students. Appetizers and small dishes, alcoholic beverages (19+), and pop will be provided. A coach bus will leave the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at 3:30pm and return at approximately 10pm. For first year students that must attend the BU111 live Q&A session, a smaller shuttle bus with a maximum of 28 students will leave at 4:30pm (and will return by 10pm), therefore there will be a limit of 27 of these first year students who can sign up for the event with this conflict (one LIFA exec will also be on this shuttle) and a maximum of 70 students that can sign up for the event in total (will be on a first sign-up basis).
