Role Description:
This position works closely with the technology team to analyze data and analytics to pull insights that help enhance the Laz student experience. Working closely with the UX Designer, this role will help create surveys and conduct market research. The Data Analyst is also responsible for synthesizing information and using it to inform decisions and launch potential projects within the technology team and LazSoc. The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and naturally curious.
Duties and Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited to:
Analyze Shopify analytics and pull insights for corporate sponsors
Creating clear and thorough dashboards that concise and efficient
Conduct demand forecasting reports
Create forms and analyze feedback to enhance current processes
Utilize insights to inform decision-making
Complete projects on an ad hoc basis
Attend all weekly LazSoc full team meetings and LazSoc events
Identify opportunities to add value and enhance the LazSoc website and events
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
Proficiency in Excel, Python
Skills in VBA, GIT and Power BI are a bonus
Analytical skills with the ability to present findings in detailed and organized manner for club executives
Creative problem solver
Experience with the Shopify platform is an asset, but not required
Good collaboration skills, strong written & oral communication
Passion for learning about technology & looking for an opportunity to gain coding experience!
Time Commitment
Approx. 8-10 hours per week - will vary throughout the year depending on projects.
