Welcome students to your club
As the only economics-focused club at Laurier, LEC is passionate about promoting the interest of economics in the LSBE faculty, living by our motto: Education. Empowerment. Exploration.
With over 12 years of experience as a club, we provide 1st and 2nd year academic support such as EC120 and EC140 mock exams and review sessions as well as organize networking and panel events. Other exciting things we have been working on include our website launch this past Spring, www.lauriereconomicsclub.com, which features our newsletter and academic articles. Our newsletter, the Economist View, showcases a snippet of what the club has been up to along with fun economics-related features. Our academic articles include Canada's COVID-19 story, which have been stamped approved by Laurier’s very own professors.
