As the Executive Vice President, you are responsible for providing direct administrative support to the Presidents, and help inspire the executive team to achieve the vision of the organization. Essentially, you are the right-hand person of the Presidents’, supporting them in the execution of their day-to-day tasks, especially when extra help is needed. You also support key business operations and team initiatives - including team meetings, internal presentations, and the management of shared information. You may oversee internal committees that promote organization goals and team culture. You are a self-starter, forward thinking person that is able to thrive in a fluid environment. Your role includes managing calendars, revising and editing internal policy documents, and creating an environment for our executive team that fosters heavy collaboration and growth. You are methodically organized, handling highly sensitive and often confidential materials with a professional presence. A working knowledge of G-Suite products and information systems is considered a strong asset.

As the Vice President, Operations, you have the responsibility of inventing, innovating, and diffusing our key flagship events, maximizing value for our stakeholders. As well as overseeing the philanthropic initiatives of the organization in support of the Presidents’ vision. You possess outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously. You are creative, working collaboratively with other portfolios to plan and execute our flagship events, and working with key partners to develop and oversee contracts and deliverables at various venues. As the Vice President, Club Strategy, you keep our internal organizations thriving with your diverse set of leadership skills. You are the overseeing manager of our clubs, building and maintaining relationships through day-to-day communications. You will be responsible for providing assistance to train club executives and assist in our clubs’ operations behind the scenes. You are also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with other business schools and their respective organizations in order to help facilitate the Presidents’ vision of growing Laz’s reputation. As Vice President, Club Strategy you must be passionate about building relationships through a managerial role, and exhibit composure in a demanding environment.

As the Vice President, Corporate Relations you are responsible for creating and maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with key partners on behalf of the Lazaridis Students’ Society. Our partners drive the operations of our organization through their contributions, and you are the liaison between our partners and our student body. You are passionate about providing value for our key partners behind the scenes, creating long-lasting relationships. You are proud to provide value to our student body by creating recruitment opportunities, exclusively for our partnered organizations. As the Vice President, Finance you will oversee the fiscal reports of the Lazaridis Students’ Society, and our internal organizations. Specifically managing club budgets, conference and competition funding, and internal spending. You are an analytical thinker, with a keen ability to craft functional financial solutions to achieve maximum value for our stakeholders. You are highly articulate in financial literacy, and deal effectively with ambiguity. Your work-ethic drives your success, handling all reimbursements for the Lazaridis Students' Society and internal organizations. You will oversee and enforce key operating documents, ensuring that all spending is both ethical and insightful. You are passionate about ensuring the contributed capital of our stakeholders is wisely managed, and you handle highly sensitive and often confidential materials about internal operations with a professional presence.

As the Vice President, Marketing, you lead the team responsible for driving student involvement and building a brand for the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics. You are a flexible, organized individual with strong communication and project management skills. You are a forward thinking person that is able to thrive in a fluid environment, handling multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously while managing a team who are executing a range of different tasks. You oversee all social media channels for LazSoc, the graphics and broadcasted content, and LazSoc/Business Casual merchandising. You have a strong familiarity with social channels, and a keen understanding of our Shopify account and reports.

As the Vice President, Technology you are responsible for the innovation, development and maintenance of LazSoc and its subsidiary clubs’ online infrastructure. The ability to problem solve is key in this role, along with extensive understanding of Shopify and proven experience with web design. You are passionate about continued learning and technology as a whole. You understand the needs of our organization and aspire to improve our community’s online experience. You are a hard worker who can manage multiple projects and share your expertise with our internal team and affiliate organizations.
