Role Description:
The Director of Community & Culture is responsible for providing support to the Internal & EDI Vice President and the entire team to ensure maximized productivity and efficiency at all levels. This role will focus on the administrative and internal functions of LazSoc to ensure that all team members are equipped with the necessary tools to succeed, along with organizing philanthropy initiatives for the full team to provide value to Waterloo community as a whole, while having fun and bonding team members! The Director of Community & Culture will also manage our productivity platform and lead the internal "Social Committee" when creating larger team social events. If you have a keen interest in organization and Project Management, and have the ability to think outside the box for creative team bonding activities, this role is for you! The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and exhibits high attention to detail in all tasks performed.

Duties and Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:
Develop weekly teambuilding activities to encourage collaboration and relationship development during Full Team meetings
Support key business operations and team initiatives, including team meetings, team socials, team philanthropy initiatives, internal presentations, and the revision of internal policy documents
Lead the internal "Social Committee" to plan and execute team-bonding events for the LazSoc Executive Team
Manage G-Suite functions, including calendars, emails, and all shared information
Create an environment for our executive team that fosters heavy collaboration and growth
Collaborate very closely with the Internal & EDI Vice President and executive team to complete various tasks
Handle highly sensitive and often confidential information with a professional presence
Manage productivity software to ensure all team members are using and updating it regularly
Time dedication of 10-15 hours weekly, with heavy commitment at the start of each semester

Hard worker; willing to prioritize this role above other extra-curricular activities
Passionate about helping others and making a difference in the community
