The Lazaridis Students' Society Corporate Portfolio is responsible for maintaining and growing the current base of LazSoc’s corporate partners. The team is responsible for creating partnerships on behalf of the Lazaridis Students’ Society, and bringing value to students by creating recruitment opportunities through company representative presence on campus or in attendance at our events. The ideal candidate thrives in team settings and has an exceptional ability to take initiative in pursuing unprompted tasks. The Directors of Corporate Relations will report to the Vice-President of Corporate Relations, Rylan Teskey.

General Corporate Duties and Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited to:

Liaise with local business partners as well as larger organizations to seek new partnerships, and support positive interaction of current and future partners
Communicate with our clubs, associations and committees regarding outreach and sponsorship needs
Actively seek partnership opportunities from a variety of fields, including but not limited to: technology, finance, marketing, sales, operations, logistics, accounting, real estate, etc
Secure substantial leads with corporate partners, with the support of the Vice President of Corporate Relations
Spearhead ad hoc tasks throughout the Corporate Relations portfolio and the organization as a whole
Collaborate very closely with the other Corporate Directors to secure partnerships with corporations
Time dedication of 6-11 hours weekly, with a heavy time commitment over the summer term and midway into the fall semester
Specific Director of Corporate Relations Duties and Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited to:
Spearheading corporate outreach projects on behalf of the Lazaridis Students' Society
Comfortable working under pressure and in front of big name companies such as BCG, Sephora, TD
Design and pitch the LazSoc Sponsorship Package to corporate sponsors
Will work closely with the Operations and Marketing portfolio as well as the Career Centre, Co-op Office, and Alumni Association.

Always has a smile on their face, social and outgoing
